PHILADELPHIA — Seven people were injured in a shooting in Philadelphia, authorities announced late Friday night.
Local outlets originally reported that three of the victims were in critical condition, and four were stable.
The shooting occurred at approximately 8 p.m. EDT outside of the Golf and Social restaurant at 1080 N. Delaware Avenue in Fishtown, authorities said. Surveillance video shows a man firing into a crowd gathered outside of the establishment across from a casino.
Officers arrived on scene to find two victims in the bar and two more in a nearby convenience store. Three other victims were transported to the hospital in private vehicles.
Police announced no arrests on Saturday, despite initial reports saying a suspect was in custody. Officers found 21 shell casings around the block.
The Golf and Social is described as a sports bar with golf simulators.
The shooting in Philadelphia comes as the latest in a string of mass-shootings prompting renewed calls for action from gun control activists. Two high-profile shootings occurred in the past weeks in Atlanta, Georgia and Boulder, Colorado.
An investigation is currently underway.
